Being Narrator

Wow the script I've received is awfully large, I'm wondering is we're ever going to get through it all. My lines are fairly easy to remember yet the timings are really getting my head spinning. Being the Narrator is shaw a lot harder than I thought it would be, 55 lines doesn't seem a hard amount to learn but it really is.

What a fun day reading through the script! I have just finished making a list of all the pages that need to be given out after half-term. Then everyone will be able to learn their lines! If you have a script, work hard learning those lines! Remember

I'm really amazed that I got Robin because when I auditions I didn't know who I wanted to be! Furthermore, I think the play will be amazing to watch and do!

french trip rooms

In my room  when we go to France will be me, jack.d, sam.l, max and ben.sh. i think this we'll be a sensible group going to bed at 11:00pm. Also playing if we can bring them, iPod's and  mp3 player. What room's are you guys going in or hoping to go in.

I'm so happy that I got the part I wanted, pokewhistle of pleasley. I am very existed for the show.

I am so existed about the play as i only got a small part and that is what i waited. I am really pleased for all those people who got big parts but that is  just not for me. I am soooo excited about the play!!!! I am really pleased with my part!! Our audition went really well.
All my friends love their parts loads! It's so cool!! I got the role of narrator which was the role I wanted. I am so pleased and I think everyone really suits their roles. I have 55 lines in total!!!! So excited can't wait to see script. I'm sure everyone will have a great time. Bye!!!!!!!

Well Done everyone!!! All of the groups were fantastic and you could see they were every well rehearsed. A special well done to Ellie Cotten and Thalia Ward for stepping up who both originally didn't want a part at all ended up having an amazing audition!!! Thanks for Robin Mrs Scott and Mrs Neal.

Can someone tell me what its like standing up there on stage. Does it feel nervous? I have never been in a play before and i don't know what it feels like.

I am really happy i actually got a part in the production. Don't be upset if you didn't get the part you wanted the teachers probably thought you were better for another part. I am so so so happy i got a part, i hope you are happy to!!

Auditions

I thought the auditions for Robin Hood were fantastic yet nerveracking. Being the people performing in front of the whole year group was the highlight of the day. I could tell that every group who performed had put their all into giving the best performance they could. Every group had their own little twist to their performance. I liked performing a second time to the year group because that was the time where we could give the last performance to everyone feeling proud that what you had revised ended up being the best performance yet.

The only thing left to do now is wait until Thursday 22nd for our roles to be introduced to us for Robin Hood. There are many roles to choose from, so I am not sure how the teachers are going to choose roles for each child in Year 7.

Well Done Everyone!

Today was the auditions and everyone did extremely well! There wasn't one person I saw who didn't put full effort into their performance. At first I was quite a bit nervous however once we got started of it all ran smoothly and the whole morning was really good, watching and performing our scenes. If this is just the start I can't start to imagine how great the whole play is going to be like. Overall it was a great morning, I'm sure everyone will agree and I can't wait to find out who has got the main parts. Well done again Rosie.

hay every one i hope you all had fun on your auditions i was really nerves and  worried but i think i did alright. i hope you all get the part you what. i am looking of more of a small part than than a really big part. the only thing with doing props or behind the seances is that you will need to learn the songs so you might as well learn a small part as well. anyway as i said earlier i hope you all get the part you what.

Finished the Auditions

I've finished and I'm nervous.I really don't want a big part. I'd rather (if anything) do props. If not I'd settle for a small part. Mind you, being on stage is super far away from my comfort zone. The main reason I don't want a big part is mainly because I forget things TOO EASILY... Which would make it really scary and on top of that I would have to remember other peoples lines so that i know when mine our coming. It is super nerve racking. I'm always thinking that I will forget my lines or even trip on the stage. This makes it even more scary than nerve racking!!!

I can't wait to find out everyone's characters.

This play is going to be so good ! I was very nervous when I went "on stage" but once the other actors are with you everyone else seems to disappear. Everyone was so good and everyone who had jokes delivered them so well. How did you feel about the auditions and how do you feel now?    

Year 7 Production Audition

Hey! Everyone did really well in their audition!! Hope everyone gets the part they wanted as you really deserve it. I didnt have any negative thoughts throughout the performance. Im not sure about being Bolt in the play though! Not sure if Bolt has many lines as im not sure if i could learn it all!!!!It will be great to see the performance in action and with everyone with their lines. It was amazing that everyone learnt their lines off by heart! I wasnt sure if i could learn them all of my lines when i saw them for the first time but i just kept on memorising them. Great! cant wait to see it... Dont think that you couldnt learn them all cause thats how i felt when i started but i learnt them within 3 days!! Good Luck on the roles everyone gets! Eloise H-A

I honestly dont enjoy performinjg in front of a audience! not a good combination! And i dont think i could learn many lines (especailly the main ones!) although i would happily help out backstage with possibly zoey or lucy as they wanted to be apart of backstage helping!
